edhstat — Privacy Policy

edhstat ("the App") is a life tracking utility for Magic: The Gathering Commander games. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.
Information We Collect
Crash & performance data. The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports and basic device information (device model, OS version) when errors occur. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used solely to diagnose and fix bugs.
Game session data. When you host or join a multiplayer game, game state (life totals, actions, player names you enter) is temporarily stored in Firebase Realtime Database so all players can stay in sync. This data is not linked to any account or identity.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not require or store user accounts, email addresses, or passwords.
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not use advertising or analytics tracking.
- We do not sell, share, or rent any data to third parties.
Third-Party Services
The App uses Google Firebase for crash reporting and multiplayer data synchronization. Firebase's own privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
Crash reports are retained by Firebase according to Google's standard retention policies. Multiplayer game session data is temporary and may be deleted at any time after a session ends.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
